There is an option in Database for OpenGL:
EnableFastCopyPixels
When i switch it on I get an increase in fps in Q3A and other OpenGL apps. It doesn't seem to have side effects.
What about that in the next release of RivaTuner this option get an graphical tick in opengl option, to not be necessary lijke now to enable it in power user?
Speaking of the wolf, what's the estimate of the next release date?
I grow so attached of RivaTuner that i barely open Det CPanel. So i.m eagerly waiting the next release.
Will it be after the next ooficial driver release fron Nvidia?
??? It's very strange coz this option is enabled by default. So if it's absent in registry it's equal to EnableFastCopyPixels = 1. BTW I had checked up pixel copying speed in SPECGLPerf with enabled and disabled EnableFastCopyPixels and saw no difference on GF256.
Nop. I will not add this option till I'll get strict info about it.
I hope that I'll be able to finish the next release pf RivaTuner in a week. Now I'm coding another utility called SoftQ.... (full name is top secret now)
Hi,

Small suggestion for the next Riva Tuner version:

I have a GF3 and am using detonator 12.41. The overclocking in RivaTuner works great but when the monitor goes into standby and is then "awoken" the clock speed gets reset to default (200/460). If I restart windows the overclocked settings are maintained. Perhaps there is a way to "reset" the overclocked settings when the monitor is "awoken"? The GF3 is the first video card I've owned that lets the cooling fan turn off when the monitor is in standby (you can certainly tell because the fan sounds like a lawnmower!).

Just wondering, is there any way to get a higher level of anisotropic in d3d games? The rivatuner only goes up to level 2 for direct3d whereas it goes to level 8 for opengl.

Thanks for your efforts, the rivatuner software works great with gf3 and 12.41 drivers.
