Evo 840 and Magician 4.6 inc New Firmware

Hi. The new Magician 4.6 is out for the Evo 840. Upgrades the firmware too. Just updated mine from the Samsung Website. Magician 4.5 didn't find the update had to download myself from here http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/us/html/support/downloads.html

Can you upload it to a file sharing site? There is a d/l limit on the site you posted for some reason?

Samsung what a sad state of affairs that they limit there software downloads the only people this annoys is there own customers

Guess i will have to wait till next week when the stress levels should of calmed down so i can get mine updated. As the one i installed is the same version a majorgeeks.

But next SSD is going to be intel, samsung can go and swing from a noose.

 

I too would love it if someone could re-upload the 4.6 version to mega or somewhere... I cannot fathom why Samsung would put a daily download cap on their software / firmware.

got my Magician 4.6 through Samsung website, but I won't upgrade just yet

 

No probs, no change in performance which was OK after the first upgrade.

 

New magican make my system.froze
At high perforamnce + rapid on + 50gb thing op

 

I've had no problems with v4.6 other than "firmware update fail"
Was able to update using ISO.

Before and after advanced performance optimization.

No. My system is all AMD.

 

I found after all day search that if i conect any harddrive to asermedia second chipset its freeze the system drive
