That song is so incredibly inappropriate for the clip, it actually damages the scene. Still, I'm all for more MK.
Yeah it needed a makeover, I was playing MKKE the other day and thinking this would look nice in U4E, x-ray vision is brutal now I see its the same group that made MKKE, guess we would see a PC version too, lol hopefully.. I remember they said they were quite surprised how well it sold on PC
Fixed video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGDiBnU6GAo Still perfer the OLD MK GAMES music over this but it atlest fits the theme.
It does look like there are some elements of gameplay in the full clip, though I guess we'll have to wait until E3 for more info...
imo that is all in game engine cut scenes untill proven other wise, just look that debacle that was killzone 2 for ps3?
They couldn't be bothered to fix the broken lobbys in the previous game so they bring out this new game with maybe a lobby fix this time around....lol....they will not be getting my money this time around. Not a chance in bloody hades.
http://www.digitaldimension.com/portfolio-items/mortal-kombat-x/ It was made by a cgi company not even netherRealm. None of it is in game engine. Also it's cross platform ps3 xbox360 which is a shame.
which is just as bad an ingame engine cut scene and trying to pass it off as game. cause even those in game engine cut scene never look like the actual game. forget about pre rendered cut scenes
On PC & next-gen PS4/xbone it will use U4E and that video is typical U4E gfx, check Infiltrator or Samaritan or Elemental demo again ^^
Then why get another company to make you a cgi trailer? Graphics will hopefully be good but you are never going to get animations like that in a fast pasted fighting game unless the entire thing was a QTE.
take it all in as nothing more then video and wont be disappoint when it dont look like that, which so many game dont look like initial trailers to begin with. and many more make it blatantly obvious its pre rendered.
Ok maybe it won't have that kind of fidelity, but think of it as Elemental PC demo E3 2012? vs PS4 tech demo @ PC SDK now.. Still nice U4E showoff, not to its full potential, but ok :nerd: Imo this MKX will look much better then MKKE for sure
