For it to work, that is.
I have a concern about the amount of system memory it uses.
Can I open the program, set it according to my wishes, close it, and have the settings remain effective?
Must it reside in the system tray to work?
And one other thing: if this program works as advertised, why are you not charging at least a modest fee for use?
> I have a concern about the amount of system memory it uses.
RTFM. RivaTuner's memory usage will be minimized in final release. It's possible, but I've no time for it now.
> Can I open the program, set it according to my wishes, close it, and have the settings remain effective?
Yes, of coz.
> Must it reside in the system tray to work?
No. You must keep RT resident only if u're working with it's RTD database and want to track any changes in registry.
> why are you not charging at least a modest fee for use?
Coz it's not the final release and I'm too modest. Maybe I'll add charging in final release, but u will ALWAYS get full RivaTuner's functionality. It will not depend of registration.

Unwinder, buddy, there's no shame in charging twenty bucks (U.S.) or so for a good product. You make a little scratch, finance further refining of the product and everyone wins.
By the way, thanks for responding.
