Hello Friends: I'm a newbie and I want to recommend some good graphics card for gaming. I am told that the best are NVIDIA, but since I'm not an expert wants to help me choose one with plenty of features. I can not spend up to $ 500. Greetings.
Best Card Under $500...>http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...c=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-EVGA-_-14130587
How on earth is that the best gpu for under $500? op, what is the rest of your pc? You can't just ask questions like that...
Or this one :- GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series GV-N570SO-13I GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125382
MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III Power Edition -> OC to GTX 580. $378 MSI 6950 2GB Crossfire -> unlock + OC. $510 AR. Needs a well ventilated case.
He will need to fill in his specs first, if he has a crappy old CPU it will bottleneck every $500 videocard. It would make no sense at all to buy a $500 one if he can get same results with a $250 one EDIT: He has an AMD Athlon?
An 4870x2 on an athlon 64, you'll get about 0% improvement with whatever card you buy. Games that'll need more than a 4870 to run properly will run like crap anyway because of your CPU.
