Is there a plugin with which I can download the videos? I used to use downloadhelper with firefox for flash and that worked great. Now it says that I should install a converter but I'd rather download it without the conversion process. Tips?
Been using this for some time, it's working fine https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-download/?src=search
hint: migrate to Pale Moon browser (if you miss ol' fashioned good FF) and by default, youtube will stick with flash :infinity: p.s. note that lately that crappy website, REGARDLESS of what browser you do use, broke full GPU Flash Hardware Acceleration in windowed mode - no issues when turning on fullscreen :nerd:
Flash video needs to die in a fire. Youtube html5 1080p60 - zero issues, perfect playback. HBO GO 720p flash video - stuttering mess with and without Hardware Accl, etc.
This is the addon I use for youtube downloads when its needed. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-youtube/?src=userprofile never had any issues with it.
would you mind telling that to my poor ol' netbook? :bang: c1: HTML5 is cpu demanding, so that's a no go with a V105 as processor. However its integrated HD4225 is capable of flash hw decoding -> playback IZ possible ^^:nerd:
Well my 10 year old Dell laptop chokes on 360p flash videos, so I basically don't use that to watch videos.
