I've upgraded my riva tuner from version 06 to 07 and fan control described in this guide is not available. I mean the part shown here
When I enter monitoring options and core temp setting, the thresshold settings field is no longer there.

It used to work perfectly in version 06, is something different in 07 or is it just me beeing to dumb to figure it out

The options for fan control are now in the 'Scheduler' tab...

You can add a new task, with the 'Run task' options set to whatever you like...

The way it works is the same as in RivaTuner 2.06, just select what condition you want to use and fill in the values...

I take it that I need to reinstall the C2DTemp plug-in to get that to work as well right. I do not see anything in the release notes on it. I guess I will try it and see what happens.

thanks private-karel, i wonder why they made it more complicated than in previous versions. Guess i'll find that out later

EDIT: is it possible to monitor (maybe even change) CPU fan speed ? searched on google but found nothing

You must apply settings before you can save them.

Hi, I have a new G92 Club 3D 8800GT "heatpipe" version, and in the task editor launch "item" there are no "items" to be launched. It's grayed out. Do I have a card of which fan can't be controlled? Drivers 169.21. Asus P5K Pro motherboard.

It seems that it's not possible to control the fan with our cards since the fan is connected with only two leads. I guess the card handles the fan speed differently (although I'm still not sure if the fan is spinning faster under higher temps). Anyhoo the temps are quite low even with a long session in Crysis (around 76 celsius).
