Has anyone gotten the HD3D to work without one frame lagging? This forum won't let me post links, but you can see a video example of the problem on youtube by searching for "ATI AMD HD3D driver problem - 1 frame lag" You can also find problem reports on TriDef's forum by searching google for HD3D one frame lag, and on AMD's forum in support under HD3D
What are the specifications to make it happen ? you need 1 card and in tridef just to choose HD3D ? what should I look for ?
Well, you need a player or game driver that supports amd hd3d. (such as tridef's movie player or 3d game driver) and a display that supports it (hdmi 1.4a) The generic term for it is frame-packing (because it sends two full 1080P frames for each movie frame. if it's working it should switch you to 1080-24P when it's enabled. To experience the "problem" watch anything in 3D. Still scenes should be in 3d just fine, but once anything moves it will be painful to watch because each eye will be seeing a different image entirely. (not just a different angle, but a different point in time) Things will pop-up that shouldn't, and go inside-out and just not match up at all, etc.
