On my tv if I switch it to YCbCr 4:4:4 in NVCP everything looks good. If I switch to RGB full games and video look too bright in the dark areas, despite black level test patterns looking the same. My TV supports RGB so that's not the problem. I also never had this problem with my 290. From what I've read the whole RGB over HDMI bug was fixed in December, besides which there's a very noticeable difference when I switch between RGB Full and Limited, much more so than between RGB Full and YCbCr 4:4:4. What's going on here?

Edit: Also I can see delineation from 1-255 on both settings. So what's the benefit of RGB Full if YCbCr 4:4:4 also has that same range?

TV or Monitor? If TV, is it set in PC/4:4:4 mode? Perhaps the black level switch got flipped somewhere? Normal should be 0-255, Low 16-235

There is also always the option of using CustomResolutionUtility to create an Edid override so it's just seen as a DVI monitor.

TV. PC mode for some reason looks like absolute garbage and increases the response time. No need to enable PC mode though because it accepts 4:4:4 signals anyways. RGB Full 4:4:4 on my 290 worked great and YCbCr 4:4:4 on this card works great too. Also it's set to Normal black levels so that shouldn't be the problem either. The difference in blacks isn't huge, it's fairly subtle but it's there.

Try playing with the "HDMI Level" setting that your TV has, on some tvs it have to be set to LOW while using RGB.

Switched this setting too? (For video at least)

Try using the old NVIDIA reg hack tool (NV_RGBFullRangeToggle)

for movies YCbCr 4:4:4 is more good colors

    for tvs YCbCr 4:4:4
    for monitor using RGB32

I have it set to Normal. Low is for RGB Limited.

I'll have to give that a try.
