My system has been 100% stable with this set, Running win 10 with version 10586.63.

Only limitation is the Borderlands series and a few indie games where they are sensitive to ANY level of OC'ing. But that has been every driver I've used for the past year and a half.

I don't need the OC for those games anyway.

 

Got another black screen. So random.
Edit: Another 5-10 within a half hour or so.
When it's happening. It's like my monitor is turning itself on and off.

Time in uninstall and revert to see what happens.

 

I have had one too this morning while watching YouTube in fullscreen mode though it is the first I've seen in a week. Thought at first it was the video but it was not there when I rewound it. Issue definitely seems to be reduced since changing a setting in the Dell Display Manager software but it seems it is not completely gone. Do you think it is a driver issue then?

Dell U2515H 1440p monitor using HDMI by the way.

 

341.63 IS THE BEST driver in awhile. Tested in BF4, it performs way better than older versions with 356.04 included (less of a gap here).

How come Nvidia hotfix drivers aren't WHQL certified?

 

Boot into safe mode and remove them. It's not dead, almost certain.

First had 361.43 everything was cool, but then I've installed the latest HF 361.60 and my monitors are going into standby mode and nothing can help just hard reset (in background I've still hearing game/music, skype, video etc. depends what I did when its happen). Called to nvidia tech support and they recommend to back to 358.91 with DDU first. But yesterday got one incident similar like this described above.
Windows 10 64bit 10586 with all latest updates + GTX 960 + 2x 24" HP LP2465 via DP.

Seems drivers or latest update from MS made a mess in my system. Probably have to do clean install and see if it will come again. Chrome is suspicious too :/

 

Read my reply on the video. The user probably has never fully deconstructed his video card to clean it and/or it has no fans blowing over it to keep it cool.
The solder has melted basically.
All electronics need cleaning and dust/heat/bugs are a manufacturers best friend over time!

 

You do realize that WHQL doesn't mean anything in the real world right?

Maybe you should open your card and clean it, check for bad solder as well.

 

I'm using HDMI, but with an EDID override so it's treated as DVI.

I was lazy and haven't tried different drivers yet. But as soon as my last edit, I think it only happened once more. And has not happened again yet. >_>

 

I cleaned my graphics card and put it in the oven for ~15min at 200c and now it's running flawlessly!

 

That's due to aging hardware from loose solder. That trick has been around for years.
