Hello, before a few minutes I tried installing the newest driver which is 378.49 but upon the end of installing the driver and PhysX updating works but something called Update Core didn't. I tried 2 times, while I checked clean installation on the second one, but still nothing. Someone knows how to fix this? Also is there an issue if I play a game using the NVIDIA GPU with the older Update Core and newer driver until the issue is fixed?

    Update core is not needed.
Its for NVidia to collect telemetry and auto update.
I delete it from the installer before installing the driver.

ie unwrap the exe, delete what you dont want then install.

So it isn't actually needed for the GPU to perform at its maximum?

try deleting driver with DDU, then before installing it, extract driver, and delete update core folder ( its not essential ) perhaps that will help you.

    1. Use DDU and wipe everything clean.
    2. Download the drivers, right click it, select "extract here to X folder" using 7zip, winrar, whatever
    3. Delete everything but this(if you need HDMI audio, leave the HDAudio folder there):

    4. Install.
    5. Done.
