As it says in the article guy had some serious physiological problems to begin with, then you add drink into that and bang, this could have been triggered by anything, no doubt he was a timebomb just waiting to go off on some poor victim.
Nvidia guy stabbed AMD guy to death. Obviously alcohol and unstable behavior would be result of it. It's just how small and stupid things can trigger such violence (last straw).
Yeah this is the worst kind of thing. Really? I've used both camps. Why I say people gotta buy what they like and can get the best bang for buck, buck being what they can afford. I mean I've always liked nvidia on PC since they've just always worked for me. Plus I was a 3DFX user and Nvidia bought them out. Kinda just flowed for me. Have owned many an ATI/AMD gpu in the past too. I mean really. This is sad. It's not a sport it's a PC part.... even if it was a sport..this sort of thing is stupid. Stupid no matter the scenerio. Well whatever the case, this is why I've been drug free and alcohol free my entire life. Less trouble and can live life without being chained by a substance.

People have killed each other with or without alcohol in fits of rage from the beginning of mankind (if you're religious, check Kain and Able). That this has to do with AMD vs Nvidia is purely coincidental. Whoever thinks that this will happen tomorrow again, or that it did happen because of AMD vs Nvidia itself, and not by a mere argument that ended up bad, has no understanding of human nature. Sorry.
This was due to some combination of way too much vodka and lack of self control... for all we know the guy may have been on drugs or mentally unstable in the best of times. It could have happened over an argument about their favorite soccer (football) player, favorite beer, boobs, cars, best James Bond villain, or just about anything if they were drunk enough. Irrational Fanboyism is not limited to just AMD vs NVIDIA (or Intel). It's a sad world.
