Here is some info about the GPU3 Projects:

I had troubles with the Systray edition so I decided to use the Console edition which didn't me any problems so far.

 

GPU3 client works for ATI aswell it just downloads the core 11 and runs as normal but you don't get the unknown gpu for ati 5xxx cards

I have read reports that GPU3 Client works fine with ATI Cards but that isn't the point. The FAHCore_11 is of GPU2. GPU3 Client uses the new core FAHCore_15 which will only work on Nvidia GPUs provided that you are meeting the minimum requirements listed here: (http://folding.typepad.com/news/201...h-gpu-clients-will-need-cuda-22-or-later.html)

 

It is always advised to use passkey for all your F@H Clients for security reasons. I have been using them on all my clients since I joined F@H and I would advice you the same.

 

Wow its fast it's ticking along at 1% every 40 seconds :banana:. Any idea's where work folder is located doesn't seem be in the normal place?

WOW, those times are with Fermi? On my GTX 260, am doing 1 minute 28 seconds. A screenshot would be nice if it isn't too much trouble.

I use the Console Client and the work folder is present in the same folder ie. D:\FAH GPU3\work\

 

Yes thats with my 470 GTX at 700 core 1400 shaders memory stock

 

k3vst3r in your Sig, you have stated 470 GTX & 250 GTS. Are you folding on both GPUs at the same time? If so are you encountering any problems? If not could you tell the Client Configurations?

did you read what i said i know its only using FAHcore_11 but the client is GPU3 v6.32 buy usin the updated client there's none of the fidling round to get it to work with 5xxx cards unlike with the GPU2 client

 

I'm getting twice that at 2min 47sec god i cant wait till they make the proper version for ati cards FAHcore_11 really suck arse farts on my hd5770

 

i was going to put my 260 in as well but 2 much messing about best i got it down to was 32secs a go

 

Well I upgraded to the new systray client, but so far I haven't been able to pick up any GPU3 projects with my 9800GTX+. I just keep getting GPU2 projects instead.

 

Have you tried to run without the -advmethods flag?

 

Since I have moved to FAHCore_15 WUs, my net loss of PPD is <2500 Points. Using HFM.NET
