    Hi, I'm trying to use RivaTuner to lock framerates when I run Mass Effect 3. When I run other Origin games it seems to lock the framerates fine but when I run Mass Effect 3 it doesn't seem to lock the framerates at all and I don't know why.

    All of my software is up to date. I've set my frame rates in both the global setting and the masseffect.exe setting too.

    I don't understand why it works for other games but just not ME3. Can anyone offer any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thank you

    You can use the built in UE3 engine command.
    Under [SystemSettings]:
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=maxfpsnumber

    in GamerSettings.ini.

    Thank you both so much! I'll try both of them. The strange thing is that rivatuner worked fine for the other games its jusy ME3. Thank you again!

    I tried the UE3 engine command and that worked wonders.
    The only problem I have left is the multiplayer where I keep disconnecting mid game. I remember there was a fix about opening ports either in the router or firewall. Anyways ill figure that out.

    Thank you for your help!
