my primary monitor is connected via displayport while the secondary with dvi but the boot process/bios is only displayed on the secondary one, is it possible to change the order or even clone it on both?

Swap the LCD leads around if you have the right adapters, then change which LCD is primary once back into Windows > Display Settings

Mine does it too, I end up with POST/Boot on the 2 Display Port LCDs, when the DVI one is my primary, doesn't really bother me though as they are all sitting right in front of me

This annoys me too, I get no picture until Windows has loaded. I haven't exactly searched hard but never found a solution.

I fixed this by reinstalling windows 8 in full uefi mode.
This will bring your bios to the main monitor.(displayport)
Legacy bios support must be turned off.

I just helped a friend build a new pc.
    Msi z97 gaming 9.
Don't remember exactly was it was called in msi bios, but you will find it easy.

Remember you must have efi partition, so backup everything first.
