Just got a new toy to play with :) MSI R5770 What I really like the most out of this card is the DX11 capability, 40nm GPU Chip (runs really cool even at high clocks), Overclockability and most of all "Performance over the Price". A video card which is not that too expensive but has a big headroom for performance.

After buying the video card. I benched it and overclocked it right away, hehehe. No mercy for the VC and pushing it to the limits. From a stock core speed of 850mhz and memory speed of 4800mhz. I was able to overclock it to 1031mhz core speed and memory to 5648mhz This was all on air :) and no extra fans or whatsoever.

Below was my system configuration for the short quick test
    Processor: ES i7 920
    Motherboard: MSI X58 Pro-E
Mems: Team Xtreem 1GB 1866mhz (hahaha 1gb only)
    Harddisk: WD Raptor
    PSU: AcBel M8 670watts
VC Driver: latest one found in ATI's Website

So inside the package you will find
    •Crossfire Cable
•4Pin molex to 6pin VC Power Connector
    •VGA to DVI Converter
    •Dirt2, Utility CD Driver

    Score: 17514
    i7 920@ 3.6ghz
    5770 @ stock

and for finale. all on air
    Score: 20049
    i7 920 @ 4.0ghz
    5770 Core Speed 1024mhz & Memory Speed 5648mhz (1412x4)

Too bad I was not able to use my own rig for the test and I didnt have the time anymore. The i7 920 ES CO stepping was holding me back to OC it to a higher speed.

For GPU comparisons you should leave your processor at the same speed, while it's an impressive OC, it ultimately doesn't tell anything meaningful about the OC scaling.

Really decent overclocking! are you using Afterburner's unofficial overclocking function to break CCC limit of MSI BIOS?
