Now this is why I love gaming. For games like this. I knew nothing of this game until I saw the announcement video a few minutes ago. I was blow away by how stunning the game looks on PS4, but also how amazing the gameplay is. Online gameplay, with mounts that are the most epic ever.
I just bought this on steam, it's an early access title. This game reminded me why I stay away from early access titles. It runs like a pig on my rig. I know the unreal engine 4 can run smoother than this, I can max out the new Unreal Tournament,(even using virtual super resolution to 2k with FXAA) - but this...dear Lord. Medium settings and it still struggles. There's $25 bucks wasted. Looks like a great concept. I hope it goes somewhere. I remember the Forest last year being touted as coming to ps4 and it's since been nowhere.
This game is technically utter ****, runs like absolute crap and for some reason everything's blurry. The gameplay however makes up for it.
I believe it's still in Alpha state. So it explains why it runs horribly for everyone. I intend to wait for the PS4 version which isn't out till 2016. Unless I build another PC, which is tempting.
Just want to point out for those who don't know it yet, they have massively improved the performance on the game. Still tons of bugs, but still lots of fun. An update everyday, developers are working their ass off... that's for sure.
I'll have to try it again, I played it once, it ran so poorly I lost interest. The thing struggled on all medium settings lol. I keep reading all these great things about it, but I refuse to suffer through 25fps Nice to hear it's coming to Xbox One. I hope they don't lose focus of the pc version while implementing the console, then again, something like this is a great example of how dx12 and consoles having cpu architecture should make developing for both much easier.
Running the game at 1080p set epic graphics stays above 40 fps windows 10 pro x64 i have Lost 6hrs to this game on the first day I was killed in 2 mins by a raptor awesome I now have a wooden house I can cook and have killed about 20 dinosaurs but nothing big yet. I am starting to venture further from the beach
I don't think it's out yet on PS4. EDIT: Official release is 2 june for PS4, surely they'll release a beta for the PS4 this year?
