Hi all, I've just ordered a 7600k to replace my trusty 2500k and I'm wondering if there's anyway to use my Thermalright 120 with the 1151 socket? There's a Universal bracket available on Amazon but it only lists 2011/1366/1155/1156/775 & AM2+/AM3+/FM2/FM3 as supported sockets. I can swap it for a 212 Evo but it seems a shame as I'm pretty sure the TRUE 120 is a better cooler.

As anyone managed to fit one on a 1151 board or am I out of luck? I suppose at a push I could modify it to fit but I'd rather just buy something that would work. Any help appreciated!

Edit: Actually, just reading through the interwebs and it seems the TRUE 120 was originally only compatible with 775 and AM2 so I must have bought some sort of adapter when I changed it over to Sandy Bridge (been that long I can't remember and looking at reviews of that adapter on amazon it is compatible with 1151 so maybe I'll be ok after all  )

1155 1556 1151 basically any of those use the exact same mounting holes.

Just make sure VRM heatsinks/ram modules aren't in the way.
