    FYI, 381.78 fixed the issue.

Not here it hasn't, HDMI TV still washed out on the desktop, there's no difference between Full and Limited range

Seems to be yea, since 381.65 the range toggle does nothing, on full or limited it just stays limited

this why I dont want to use HDMI for PC connection and NO HDTV use rgb/dvi anymore, probably effect DP to i assume cause always did, and NO hdtv uses that either.

Though ON topic if MS/Nvidia fixed color profiles from resetting any time a fullscreen program is used, i might actual set those profiles, I still rather just do it from monitor and not worry about it at all

These are the first drivers I've had any problems with it, it's been fine for years up until 381.xx

    Maybe WDDM 2.2 issues?

you read the reset of the topic after that right? if you did you would notice he was refering to full/limited RGB

last time I tried to set color profiles was back in windows 7 well before windows 10 and I stay on 1511 build of windows 10 until 2 weeks ago. thought people were using external/3rd party programs to keep it correct all this time which you know i not into xD

The contrast range toggle should work with 381.65 and 381.78.

I upgraded to the creators update last week, unknowingly that one of my most played games broke with the update (developers fault, not creators update). Installed the 381.65 drivers after it updated and I noticed you can choose between 2 radio buttons of default application display settings or nvidia defined display settings (which allows you to change contrast range, color space, etc.)

Of course its washed out when using default application settings, but if I force full range RGB it did switch over for me. Even on a clean install of the creators update (re-did my storage setup since one drive was giving SMART warnings) it worked installing 381.65 first then 381.78 after.

All I would say is make sure nothing else is controlling color settings (like forcing a color profile in your display adapter properties in Windows).

Currently using 381.65 with the anniversary update/RS1/build 1607 and the toggle is working.
