What is europe?

What is Europe? Is it the last bastion of western society?where are all the people to rise up and and are willing to defend it? USA, UK, and maybe even Russia? Most everyone lives in our shadow, unwilling to commit, scared of the repercussions. I love western society and if western and northern Europeans would step to the table Wed be fine.....

Where are all the rich countries that benefit from all of the soldiers that die so you can live in peace and protect your way of life. Too many times it's the ones on the frontiers shedding the blood so you don't have to.

I'm American, I don't even own a gun, yet my brethren fight to defend Europa and I'm a democrat AND you can discount this post or even delete it. I don't care, the way of life We are accustomed to is in peril, one way or the other.

There's lots of people in my country who are willing to throw hundreds of thousands of our young men into a war to protect your borders. If you guys aren't willing then what's the point. I'm not one of them, but if it comes down to it are you guys ready?.....

Of course members of European countries are willing. What kind of nonsense is that? NATO is a very strong alliance. Every country's military contributes evenly to Europe's defense. The U.S. just provides missile defense systems and intelligence aid for the most part, along with a promise of full military action if required. Germany and France have very capable land armies, up to date technology, nuclear arms (france I mean), and the U.K. navy is the strongest in the region.

I don't understand what threat you think they're facing at the moment and are doing nothing about.

 

It's where rich nations are forced to pay for poor as **** nations like Greece, Poland, etc

So it's basically one big w*****e state, sooner I get my vote to leave the better :banana:

 

Question is whether any countries ever did ask for a protection?
Soviet union did protect other (socialism/communism oriented) countries spending most of resources (instead of own people needs) and (worse) loosing lives of its soldiers. Do you think soviet people asked for that?
My point is - I don`t believe any government when it speaks about protection of other countries. History shows that all such speeches are motivated by something else hidden.

Edit: And when usual guys speak about protection of other countries they are blinded, fooled. Imo.

 

OP sometimes it's better not to post when you're tripping on a legal/illegal high. You're wrong on many levels about Europe as it is now and historically. Would be nice if you did some research before you lay into a continent next time.
