How do I set a universal 'Start/Stop Recording' hotkey, independent of a 'hooked' application? I want to record a game that apparently doesn't register with the OSD, and thus does not 'trigger' it. Additionally, I can't figure out how to record both game audio and mic input (without going through 'Listen to this device through X Playback device', because I don't particularly care to hear myself talking through the headphones).

    I'm using Win7 x64

If a game doesn't register with Afterburner, the executable is problably 64-bit. Afterburner only supports 32-bit executables.

Another option to get your own voice in recordings, would be to record your voice separately and later mix the game recording and your voice together.

The bad side is you have to manually time the dub of the two audios, and you need capable editing tools to do this.
