Well, I just recently got CSS, and I thought it was kinda cool. It's fun to play counter-strike again after all this time So anyway, I thought it would be a good idea if we had a guru server again, so I just put one up temporary. It's nothing spectacular, as it's running off my dsl line, on a xp1700+ dedicated box, but it should be okay with not too many players. Max players is at 10 right now, but I might adjust that up or down, depending on how it goes. It's just a test for now, I don't know how much resources and stuff this game takes, so I need some people on it to see. I'm not running any password at the moment, but that might come as well. Right now I just want to see how things go. Any suggestions to map cycle, round time and similar are welcome. The IP is: 81.0.162.162 And remember, this is just a test for now. I need time to configurate everything and stuff. So, if any of you people wanna play some CSS, lemme know
Oh, and the server is located in north-west europe, more specifically northern Norway. So most europe users should get quite good ping times. For US users, well, you should be okay - In the 200ms league I presume.
