Late replying. whether its bad luck or bad quality its took me cost.So i have right to do say my opinion but in whole world AMD has less life than Nvidia.you can google it. If u talk about number i give you example:if Nvidia has 2% failiure chance than AMD has 4%.Its like Xbox 360 Ring of death. Some guys never had but some always get ROD
As a Customer Care rep for Asus, I can tell you I've had more NVIDIA cards on my service desk than AMD. (In fact, I've only had one AMD card)
I would expect that as Nvidia has a much larger market share. In saying that I very much doubt the is any difference between brands percentage wise.
Actually there is very little difference between AMD/nVidia as brand when you look at defect rate. But there is difference between brands. GTX 750Ti is one of least defective cards made due to low power consumption, heat and low complexity. In average it is like 0.8%, but Gainward has particular model which has 5.7% defect rate (based on statistics of one of our shops).
Just wanted to post a little update, for those of you who are interested. After notifying me they were contacting Taiwan to request my RMA, MSI have not replied in over a week now. Here in the UK there is no support/RMA contact number, only general inquiries. Where to go from here? Wait patiently or spend an undefined amount of cash on overseas calls to MSI?
