I got the ps3 version off my brother over the weekend, don't know whether to play or give him back. I may just give him back and get the pc version.
If it's anything like Max Payne 3, then it's safe to say that we'll get an awesome port, I don't think it will be like with GTA4 at launch (which I still played to death, even with all its faults).
Just little thoughts i've got: So today is a 2014, right...and we have a GTA ze IV which was released in 2008, right...and i don't know how about you guys, but mine running like sh@t with mediocre performance on my RIG (at 1440p, max settings) ...how much time after this fall will last till GTA V will be running at least "meh...fine" and on what PC specs? ...just thinking PS. I just bet that PC optimization will not be present with PC rls ...i don't believe it anymore...evar. Nor will hold any hope for it - less probability for get majorly distressed by that and such... PPS. From now on (W_D was the last drop) my moto for any future major game releases will always will be - "meh" ..."i'll see what is what when it will be rlsd" and don't forget - "nevar to pre-order" PPPS. And don't get so much hyped about it before...won't be damaging your nerve cells after day 1 release - I learn this the hard way...my mental state won't be the same again - don't make the same mistake i did! save your brains! :lol imo
Gta 4 on ps3 also run very bad (18-24 fps average), and gta 5 looked and run much better on ps3. And BTW. when GTA4 come out on PC, I could play it without problems on my quad Q9550 and 8800Ultra. Sure it was not max details, and without mods like ICE ENCHANCER, but it was playable (30-50 fps average). But speaking about GTA5, I'm very excited to finaly hear it's coming on PC. PS3 version was perfect game in my opinion, addictive gameplay, great car handling. I always wanted to play this game @1080p + MSAA + Anizo+ mods Now, its only ps3 pictures, just magine how great it will look on PC
PS3 or Xbox360 versions of GTA4 also ran like crap, so a pc version (with much higher settings i might add) must run great after porting ? I really dont know where people get this from.
Pretty much any game released on ps360 runs like crap these days, the hardware is very old so it's not really an indication on how it will run on much higher end systems.
PS3 version doesn't look like that though, yea if you take a 720p screenshot and resize it down to the size of a credit card its gonna look nice, but in reality it's jaggies everywhere and FPS that a 10 year old PC would be ashamed of
I dont agree. GTA5 runs much better then GTA4, so it cant be worse than that. (even if its a port to the next gen systems).
I know how it looked on ps3, and thats why I'm happy it will be 1080p + MSAA + anizo now. BTW. I played gta5 on few HDTV's, it looks very good on 720p PDP kuro, and much worse on FULLHD LCD Totally agree. Theres no way, gta 5 would run worse than "wash dogs"
