Right Hav people had more luck patching connect3d 9500 cards into 9700s or the sapphire card? Also do u reckon the version of card matters?or is it still just pot luck? Thanks Stephen
connect 3d from holland no problems at all. With soft9700 as softfiregl x1 problem free with a overclock of 300/300 Another guy who was in the shop with me emailed me that he also has non problems. Remeber to have the right PCB and the 4 chips 2 tops 2 on the side you can find pics on the forum. I've heard that there is a revision with the saphires recognized on the BLACK PCB that has only 2 chips. The other saphires were allright i think. Greetz
FpsLives: ehm.. maxpert, 14 jan, first batch of cards by any chance? OEM Connect 3D with w1zzard patch. No softfireGL yet. Revision 2 card. No probs! I think between the connect3d or saphire cards it doesn't matter much.
hehehe yip thats me. Mzzls
The Sapphire is on the red pcb right. Here is a link to a seller with a pic, tell me if that is a Sapphire. http://www.buymstar.com/detailsVideo.asp?pid=1224 Thanks
LOL. No special reason for W1z mod. I dowloaded the cat3 drivers from his page and the patch was only a few bytes more. RT would've delayed the test somewhat (extra 800kb) Did use RT script to patch the card under winME. Rivatuner to oc the card. (300core/620 ddr) Got it working in BX after a fresh windows install. Bon.. heb ik niet meer nodig. Heatsink (removed, bijgevijld/filed.. -> damaged) Metalen Shim (removed) Soldered for voltmod (disabled.. damaged heatsink) mzl @sumpm1: There's a black pcb and a red.. Black: http://www.sapphiretech.com/vga/9500.asp#Model Number Red: (scroll down some) http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/radeon/sapphire-r9500-128.html Dunno what brand the card in your link is..
