Hey Everyone! It's time for the official eyefinity/tri fire project. The evga quad sli classified motherboard is arriving tomorrow but I quickly got my replacement for the p6t7 ws supercomputer mobo. I'm going to be using 3 27 inch monitors and 3 5870's and I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of benchmarks at a high resolution we could expect from 3 monitors. I also would love it if everyone posted their own results as well to see the difference in either brand, drivers or overclocked settings. Currently waterblocks will be available on oct. 12th. I cant wait so I'm also going to manually configure my own water setup with these cards.. Please let me know if there are any games you would like me to bench across 3 monitors.. Whether it be using 1, 2, or 3 cards. Lets get it going!! :)

Until tomorrow when the new classified arrives I'll be using the
    p6t7 ws supercomputer
    6gb of dominator
    vertex turbo ssd
i7 975 OR XEON 3580 @ various clock speeds... Try to avoid any bottlenecks.
The 3 5870's are diamond, HIS, and XFX.

I took a few pics as well, but I'll post more later this evening. I just thought this was the coolest looking 5870!

Also going to test a few games with physx and use an extra gtx 285 for that as well.

Please let me know what you would love to see benched at high res with multiple panels.. I know I'm curious about alot of titles.. Also if physx will actually help when dedicated to the 5870 setup using a 285. Cheers!! Start your benching.

Crysis is the obvious one, but would love to see NFS Shift with trifire and a physx card, this game seems to need it

Hang on, hasnt Nvidia stopped people from using one of their cards for PhysX with an ATI card for graphics?

Well anyways... that looks like a beastly set up, please let us know how it goes!

Also, what the hell do you do for a living to have the money and time to buy and play this? LOL Cause I want your job!

Thanks so much man!! I try to make my room look as neat as possible. Yeah. A 52" sharp aquos. Nice tv. The width looks small compared to the monitor setup though.
Cant wait to get these benches going.. Resolution should be pretty crazy. Hope these cards can take it.
