rx480 8gb error

    i have problem with my rx480 8gb sapphire it give me error ( video tdr failure atikmpag.sys ) some one help me

    Did you try different drivers? Sounds like a driver problem.

    yes many driver but the same error
    and i try windows update work with no error but the frame rate is too low and bad performance
    windows update version was Driver
    16.40.2311.1002-161121a-309377E

    Always best to know your GPU by model name and know how to download the drivers direct from AMD and and install them yourself. Too many rely on something/someone else to do it for them and wind up with problems because of it. For instance, I have a custom folder on c:\ I named "AMD Drivers" and I download the new drivers there--and then install them from there. That way you always have a few for reference should you need to reinstall or install an older set for some reason--I always keep the most recent 2-3 drivers and delete the older ones as I add new ones. Just a good habit to cultivate...;)
