I bought a NVIDIA GeForce 405 VGA and HDMI output (made in china), and has a chipset GT218-301-B1, i tried many driver but windows still say "This device isnot configured correctly. (Code 1)". A fake graphic card? If yes, where can i find the driver? Thank you all!
218 is a geforce 210. So it must be a rebranded 210. 341.96 is the last driver supporting it. BTW never buy chinese cards, they lie about hardware specs. Don't see how this is legal to sell..
I was just about to say its a gt 220 but looks like its a gt 210. That specs on the card tho, 16 cuda cores.
It is geforce 405 not 210, device ID is 10DE - 10C5. Driver from nvidia website not working, still this above problem
Yes its a fake, its old dx10 9400GT gpu or rebrand of GF 210. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-210/specifications http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-9400-gt/specifications I found only this asian thread about it.. http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2105979276 EDIT; If you plan to keep this then try latest legacy driver as Agent101 suggested.
The 405 was an OEM card most likely sold in cheap Dell or HP computers originally. And yes probably a rebrand of something else.
