it looks like somebody at office consuming our bandwidth like a hoe .

i am a warm face that dont block internet at office. but it looks like people r using it against me.

i need people use internet without any limitations BUT only the bandwidth

googling around but seems like only free trial search results r shown.

You might be able to do with with MAC addresses, that way you can leave DHCP enabled on the PCs

Still need to work out which one is which though, how many machines?

If the router was running DD-WRT you can click on each machine MAC and it pops up with the model machine connected on that IP

Id go with the MAC address method, that way even if they try changing their IP address, it will still be limited, they'd have to swap out the network card to change the MAC address, or do some tricky Linux hacking to spoof a fake address

If you press "Add New" does it give the option for adding clients with MAC address?

What is the model router? Can't quite make out the number

Ok, well if you tell DHCP to hand out IP addresses for say

    192.168.1.50 to 192.168.1.100

Set your own machine static outside of that range, say 192.168.1.105

Then use QoS to limit bandwidth for the DHCP range, that will limit all machines between .50 and .100, but will ignore your machine

What I was wondering was if your router was DD-WRT compatible, if it is, you can flash the same firmware I am posting in my screenshots

    What is the router model?

Yea that should work, so long as you limit the range of IPs they are using, DHCP or Static should be fine

Just remember to keep your machine out of that range or you'll limit yourself too lol

Hmm, I see it has an option for ports too, did you add ports to the filter?

Maybe you can leave the ports part empty so it only filters the IPs?

And which protocols does it list?
