So, I updated my computer some time ago, from the above mentioned 1090T to a i5-3570K, and I managed to sell the mobo to a friend, but I didn't find anyone who whanted to by my 1090T. I was wondering that I could do with it so it can be usefull. My idea is to assemble a small computer with it to do number-crunching alongside my main cpu. For this, I need a need, preferably cheap but not horrible, mobo. Besides, I'll need also new ram, psu and a small HD (no need to store data in it). The idea is to get the cheapest and with the smallest size and power footprint that is still usefull. Do anyone have any idea for sugestions for componentes for this system? Any suggestion of any kind are more than welcome. P.S.: If anyone is wondering why I would want a computer for number crunching, I'm a physicist working with computational fluid dynamics, this should be enough reason.
