Hey all! So I recently purchased an ASUS G752VL laptop for some gaming on the go. When I purchased it I switched out the 7200 RPM HDD for a nice 480GB SSD to ensure the performance and battery life was there. What I did not realize was that ASUS had disabled the laptops feature for using the integrated graphics controller on the i7. Has anyone found a way to get around this? I would love to be able to disable the GTX 965 when I am just using the internet or working. Cheers all!
I used to use this, works great should you require best possible battery life when your not gaming. http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimus_technology.html Good news your GTX 965 is included and you can use Nvidia's Optimus technology for power saving: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-965m/specifications Simply download Optimus and activate it in the Nvidia control panel. That's it!
