what are you talking about exactly ? 2K14 on PC was still a last gen title, while 2K14 on Xbox 1/PS4 were both next gen titles, so no, you're either wrong or misinformed they lied however saying they had a new physics engine called "locomotion" in next gen, but turned out to be a lie... as the only difference was the foot planting had a bit less sliding/ice skating... but still the same old system that completely lacks any physics whatsoever, and is predicated on motion capture strictly.... And the AI intelligence.. it's the type that knows exactly what buttons you are pressing and reacts according to that, as opposed to reacting to an actual physics based system as in real life... So I had a bunch of videos on my you tube that show this exact thing, but deleted them all... didnt want to spend any more energy time on a game that hasn't changed it's core engine since it released on Dreamcast
and for all that its still 10000000000 times better than anything ea sports has done in the last 20 bleeping years. Lest 2k games support and makes good sports games for pc not just consoles. Else we would have NOTHING on pc side.

They make it like that to enhance the realism. That sweat needs all the extra free skin space it can get
There are a lot of 1080p FMV cutscenes in NBA 2K14 I believe which brought its install size to 50 GB on PS4. There's no way all that space is being used for textures or audio!
