Can't really remember how much space it was, but I do remember that when I installed Windows 3.1 on it... just left me with not enough space to install Wolfenstein 3d
The earlier home computers I don't remember, I was too young. The first one I had all to myself and didn't have to share had 4GB IIRC.
For PC it was Conner 420MB, then Quantum 840MB For A500 it was much smaller, can't remember (panicking)
500mb was mine... and I remember upgrading to a 2gb drive and think how would I ever fill the space. Lol!
In the first gaming computer my Dad built me I had a 120GB in 2005. I had a P4 powered PC in '01 or '02, no idea what size drive that had as I was only 9 or 10 at the time I got it.
My first hard drive was a 4gb effort, im pretty sure it was a Maxtor but not 100%.... Back in my Amiga A600 days i always dreamed of buying a 20mb hard drive, but never got around to it
Not sure how old people are....I am 50....just curious, as I see people mention some things and wonder how old they were..... First HD was a 20mb drive on a Zeos 386SX....around 1991....I was 26.
The first hard drive I bought was for my Amiga 500 and it slotted onto the side, if I remember correctly. It was something like 80 MB or 160 MB capacity. My first PC hard drive in 1999 was something like 6 GB.
130 MB Seagate IBM Ambra 486 SX 25 Some people were so jealous they almost hated me I still have the thing
