I have a pair of 3TB HDDs configured in Windows 7 as a 6TB dynamic span. I want to move these two drives to a NAS box and keep the dynamic span as-is so I don't have swap everything out to a whole new set of drives. Can I do this or will windows fail to see the drives as a dynamic span when I move them to the NAS box?

Oh, and the drives don't have anything installed on them, no OS or programs on there. Just files.
    :bunch:
Lots and lots and lots of happy little files.

At a guess Id say you'd lose the span and have to set it up again via the NAS, Windows will be controlling the setup atm
