It comes with the 340.52 drivers, I have tried installing new ones. There are no new drivers on Windows update btw.

Nvidia control panel does not launch on the technical preview with 344.11 Drivers.

Curious to see impressions on game stability/performance to make sure this Technical Preview isn't an absolute pile of **** like the Windows 8 Developer Preview was before I attempt any tests.

It's further ahead than the dev preview was, but only because this has 8.1 behind it and the dev preview didn't

Good to hear, Win 8 DP was a hideous frankenstein OS that probably had a lot to do with all the hate 8 initially got and still gets.

I had this problem at first just install the same driver on top with no clean install. After that NVCP should start working. Also using 344.11

EDIT: DDU doesn't work in safe mode as it shows unsupported OS and greys out the clean box, but using it from desktop lets you select it, haven't tried it as I already had the driver installed.

Well Ive been playing with it for a while now, and only bugs Ive found so far are AMD drivers not wanting to install normally, and start menu colours don't always change to match system theme, sometimes it goes black, or the wrong colour

    Nothing show stopping though

Try running it in compatibility mode for 8.1

The NVCPL works for me with the Quadro 344.11 drivers, I uninstalled the previous drivers with DDU though.

    This worked for me, thanks.

EDIT: Rebooted and it won't launch again. Seems like you need to re-install the driver every time your reboot to get it working.

Take it as a good thing, using DDU will usually cause more serious future problems than the current small ones it prevents. ;)

Windows 10 is nothing more than Windows 8.2.

Mmm, NVCP stopped showing again after a reboot. Tried the Quadro 344.11, worked but then stopped showing NVCP like before. SLI is still activated though so its not that bad, just ended up using NV Inspector for any changes.

This is pretty much my thought. There is no reason
for them to waste dev time on Windows 8, since the
brand name has been damaged so much.

It is Better to pull a Vista to Windows 7 spit polish &
release Windows 10 aka Windows 8 done right.
