I got a ROG about a month ago, and yesterday I noticed that the place where I rest my left wrist vibrates slightly - very slightly, barely noticeable. The vibration is more noticeable when the laptop is placed on a hard surface, and less noticeable when it's on my lap. Also, if I put my head close to that spot I can hear very faint clicking. The clicking goes away when the hard drives and the fan are not idle. Are these things normal? Thanks in advance.
That's just extra features that they throw in on ROG products No srsly, I don't know if it is somehow the same, but before I got an SSD my HDD was also doing some wierd clicking, and I found that it was the "free fall sensor" that occasionally thought my laptop was in a free fall, when in fact it was sitting safely on a desk. Fixed it by uninstalling the driver which job was to protect the drive in case of a drop (actually not really a fix).
