Ok i've done a few rounds of testing with windows 10 1511 and its not pretty.

After installing the nvidia drivers, please do a sfc /scannow on windows 10 1511 version. Its reading corrupt files thats unable to fix.

Windows 10 10240 its perfect with no integrity errors found

Getting the same on 1511 whether Nvidia drivers are installed or not. Everything is working perfectly however. I wouldn't put too much weight into sfc /scannow. What specific problems are you having?

    Does
    Code:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    fix it for you?

After upgrading to TH2 SFC will almost certainly show issues. DISM will almost certainly fix them so that SFC will be able to fix things.

Well, here's where it gets interesting.

I've been testing this out yesterday and it will give no errors until the nvidia drivers are installed for the first time.

A fresh install with all drivers except nvidia on "1511" no sfc errors. Nvidia drivers are installed it gives errors, also when its uninstalled it will continue to give errors.

Windows 10 build 10240 gives no errors whatsoever.

To check your windows 10 build type winver in run command.

Tested with fresh 10240 iso and 1511 iso 64bit pro.

with sfc /scannow errors overtime your system begins to boot up more slowly. I've never tested the long term effects of having multiple integrity errors but it do affect performance gradually.

I'm back on a freshly installed 10240 with Configure updates for windows update in the gpedit.msc to disabled until this is sorted out.

This way i can manually check for updates whenever i want with configure updates set to disabled in the gpedit

Had the same problem and this fixed it for me
1 Mount the ISO and copy install.wim from the source folder to Desktop
2 Create a folder on desktop: mount

Open Admin Command prompt, copy/paste each line and run:

    Dism /mount-wim /wimFile:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\install.wim /index:1 /MountDir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount\windows /LimitAccess
    Dism /unmount-wim /Mountdir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount /discard

    Same here, all ok.

Got enough other problems since 1511, but most seem ok now. SFC has been fine the whole way.

Were you not able to clear it up using an ISO and DISM?

How come Windows Defender is using ~2GBs of RAM when active?

2.4 MB here for protection and anti malware is 50.7 MB.
    Cloud option is off.

I disabled windows defender in the gpedit.msc

also have windows update set to option 2. notify to download, notify to install

I'll stay on 1511 because its abit more optimized

Just ran it for myself and got corrupt files and it was able to properly repair everything, the log files say its an error with the file ownership of several files in the windows folder.

Example of error: "Error - Overlap: Duplicate ownership for directory [l:33]"\??\C:\WINDOWS\Servicing\Editions"

its because windows 10 is comparing the nvidia drivers hashes with the windows 10 drivers.

my windows install keeps comparing the opencl.dll in the winsxs folder.....

    nothing to worry about though.

if you try to fix it. it going to over write your drivers.

you can go to the cbs log and will tell you the problem.

no such issue here. ran sfc scan, no errors found.

  20. Zero issues here. I even have more crappy upgraded build from latest insider. SFC runs fine, no Corruption.

Check OC, SATA cables and maybe some malware?
