    Hi all

There's lots of info on the net about ACHI and reg tweak, but my SSD has been running badly since I tweaked a few things and I was hoping for some help getting it to run better. Currently it's running at WEI 5.9 - the same as my HDD at work.

My specs are in the side panel there, X58A-UD3R and OCZ Vertex 2E 1.1. The best I've got out of it so far is WEI 6.9, but I don't know how to get it back up to that.

I'm using SATA port 5 at the moment, which more people seem to favour. It is set to ACHI but it makes no difference.

EDIT: SSDLife says I have no SSD, even though S.M.A.R.T is enabled.

    Help much appreciated

    Thanks

Have you gone to your regedit to change some values? If not try this

Theres one more you need to find and its the pciide and set Start to a value of 0.

I have my SSD in port 0 and have esp enabled on it.

p.s. Post a SS of your ATTO scores
