I was thinking of making little announcements in the forum as a way of thnx when people hit a mile stone (100,000 points and so on). What do people think?? Hilbert can you not mention F@H in your ATI reviews like you do for Nvidia??? some poeple may not be aware that there cards can be used for this good cause!
Questions to Mr H probably would be best off sent directly at him, although I would say that would have a nice affect on those with ATI cards willing to spare some GPU time.
Question sent to Mr H, with positive reply. What about the posting of milestones, does that sound ok to the rest of you Guru's?
I am willing to do the work of collecting the data and posting it here. After all it is only a case of checking some stats pages then posting a list, should not take too long. Once a week should do it I think.
The Appreciation thread? Guru3d's High Rollers or Folders? Guru3d's Folding Stars? erm too early to think more lol
I like the "Guru's Folding Stars". Makes it sound a little special. Want I'm trying to do is show that we appreciate all those that fold for the team & try to keep them folding for longer. A lot of people start to fold for a few days/weeks then have a problem and give up which is a shame.
Something that I've always found interesting is the way certain website forums list a user's folding points in the area to the left that states username/rig stats/etc. An example: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100809114
+1 for the folding stats idea, i do like the way evga work, but we dont have enough people folding for a mass community friendly battle lol
