Currently I own a Coolermaster hyper 212+ but it can't handle my CPU over 4.5 GHZ. I want to push it to 4.8 GHZ at least, forcing me to upgrade my cooler. I did allot of research and found that these 2 coolers are among the best on the market. There is about 15$ difference between them, noctua being the pricier. Which one should I get and will it handle my 2500k at 1.4v ?

Im using 212 Evo in push-pull with the same CPU, 4.8Ghz 1.38-39v. This chips are cool, mine stays under 70-75c in Prime95 while in gaming its barely reaching 60-65c.

CM690+11fans, it kinda means good airflow in your case, right?

Yes good airflow indeed. But under prime 95 and LinX burn test it gets up to 90*C. I reseated the cooler several times, using AS -5 paste still nothing. High temps under stress tesing mid 70 during gaming.
