How big is the download? With there being no preload and the game going on sale at 7pm here in the UK it is likely to take several hours to download so I won't actually get much time to actually play it. Still, it's better than going on sale at midnight, I guess, though those games tend to have pre-loads.
I'm up in the air on this 1...... you must use a controller......to get to work good.......sinse it's a CP.
This game is DX9 only, Remedy has been very clear on that front(statements on the official Alan Wake forum) That DX10 cards are required is just because there are simply no DX9 cards with the horsepower to run this game
Considering Remedy said a 8800 couldn't run the game.... But, you can believe what you want. But in the end the fact is the game runs on DX9 otherwise WinXP being a supported OS would be impossible.
Yeah, I know, it's IGN but they gave the game 9.0: http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/121/1218682p1.html I'm confident it'll be great though even if I do feel IGN overrate games more often than not.
Still no price on my steam page and no option to buy yet. Bit strange as the game is released tomorrow.
