Windows Movie Maker doesn't use CUDA so it's useless there too.

Thanks for the reply, but already have those ones.

Wanted both the x86 / x64 for program files directory, so whenever I update the video drivers, I don't have to re-copy the files back into Windows directories

They should be the same. The one in "SysWOW64" is for 32 bit apps and the one in "System32" is for 64 bit apps.

Im thinking MS was drunk when they did this not you.

    System32 should be 32bit SysWow64 should be 64bit
Kind stupid to have 64bit in folder called system32 and 32bit in folder call Syswow64. Then again it is MS

to get this working with "Xilisoft Video Converter" i did the following:

first i downloaded and copied those files to its directories (system32 and sysWOW64)
then i registered those dll's by simpling opening command promt as admin-> then typing-> "pushd c:\windows\system32" (without quotes)-> hit enter -> then typing "regsvr32 nvcuvenc.dll" -> hit enter.
did the same to 64bit dll. -> "pushd c:\windows\syswow64" -> hit enter ->
    and then "regsvr32 nvcuvenc.dll" again

thanks, I did it with the 32bit version copied to sysWOW64 and the 64bit version to system32 (on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 Bit), is it right ? reading your post (64bit dll in syswow64) makes me think I did it wrong ? I thought 64bit dll had to be copied to system32 ?

32-bit dll goes to "system32" folder, and 64-bit dll to "sysWOW64"

works 100% perfect if you install the "modded" 344.75 drivers uploaded by Cyris
