Interesting. Newer than the v301.42 WHQL drivers I believe. Will obviously need a modded INF to install on desktop cards though.

Wonder if this will contain the v-sync stutter bug fix? Seems unlikely but it is one reason to try them I guess if you're a GTX 6x0 card owner.

    *EDIT*
    For Windows 8 only?

Waiting to hear some feedback from GTX 680 owners who've installed these, although I may try them myself later on. If they don't contain the Bully/F1 2010 fixes though (the v302.59 drivers didn't either) then I'll roll back to v301.42.

It's tempting, but I only like to get my drivers when released on nv's page.

I have for the moment only tried Darksiders, because it is not a demanding Game, an the vsync Bug with my gtx680 seems to be fixed :)

U serious? Could you download the Mass Effect 3 demo and see FPS curve with afterbruner? I'm not at home and can't test atm.

Well these are still CUDA 4.2.1...

    But the good news is they're from a new r302 branch > 302.71: r302_00-98 <

Idk, i hope there is no P-state bug with adaptive applications (firefox), so far so good.

edit: just make sure to manually delete Display.update/display.optimus folder, because it won't work.. It installs it correctly, etc., but when you try to run via nvcpl its missing (in other words useless).

Sorry not the Time to do that, but the Games:

    StarCraft 2
    Kingdoms Of Amalur
    Lego Batman
    and as told befor Darksider

seem to not having the vsync Bug, so I think the fix is includes in this Drivers.

Everything test seems to work a lot smoother than with the 301.42

Is this all I have to do in order to install normally on a GTX680 desktop system? Going to try them out tonight.

I'm dubious that these drivers contain the v-sync stutter bug fix myself as ManuelG (NVIDIA forum) has said they won't be out until late June. Why would they turn up in a notebook driver of all things?

I mean I accept it is possible but I suspect it's placebo myself. Will try them out for myself later as I can see these 60-58 fps and 60-55 fps drops in a number of my games and Assassin's Creed II stutters noticeably while turning the camera. Also, Diablo III has obvious stuttering, made worst by server latency.

He's talking about an official Nvidia release, these are leaked. Drivers will be submitted for WHQL testing weeks before we see them. There is a definite possibility the vsync fix is in the 302 branch and we just happened to get lucky with these leaking while a 302 branch driver is probably out to MS for WHQL certification.

Yes and replace that INF from laptop2go link

edit: P-states are ok, no full3d clock bug by adaptive applications like with leaked 302.59. :)

The 302.71 drivers are certified though for notebooks so that would mean they'd be several weeks old (from submission). I suspect that ManuelG would have mentioned something if a driver set with the fix was undergoing certification. In all likelihood - in my opinion - these do not contain the fix at all but it's possible that game optimisations in this branch may have reduced the stutter unintentionally to less obvious levels. Maybe.

I'm currently deciding whether to try these or not later but if I do then I'll certainly post my findings as I know exactly what to look for.

Where can I find the newest HD Audio driver as a standalone? It wasn't included with this package.

Look at the driver date, they're about 9 days old. I don't know what you mean by "certified", but they aren't signed by Microsoft (no WHQL).
