then i would double check if you have actually done the procedure and installed the drivers correctly.

If you are sure you have, then you can enable/disable all those extra settings from RivaTuner itself, without having to do it through the Display Properties.

read and make sure you do this correctly:
It took me a bit to write this, but pay close attention to the instructions.
2 those that asked:

What has RivaTuner to do with the controls/tabs/icons/options/etc. in the Nviida official control panel?

You use either RivaTuner or nvidia cpanel, but not both.

This message was edited by Kakaru2 on 10 Feb 2002 12:42 PM

He said that he patched the driver and installed successfully but he still does not get the extra OpenGL options in the Display Properties panel, so I suggested he use RivaTuner to manipulate those settings since he couldn't get to them through Display Properties.

if it doesn't work, change this line in 'nvagp.inf'...

%NVIDIA&DEV_0100.DeviceDesc%=NV10,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV _0100

to

%NVIDIA&DEV_0100.DeviceDesc%=NV10GL,PCI\VEN_10DE&D EV_0100

ok?

i mean this;

1. download driver again.
2. change files(nvagp.inf, and softquadro patch)
3. reinstall driver...
4. !!!use previous version of rivatuner(I think rc2 or 3 is best)!!!
5. use DisableOSCheck.reg file...
6. opengl button, miscellaneous tab, and check 'Enable Hardware Accelerated Lines'.
7. now you have quadro!!!

wait, i forgot something... you have to change nvagp.inf file differently depends on your card.
remember your card's device id(in rivatuner graphic card report), and add GL after it's model name

%NVIDIA&DEV_0100.DeviceDesc%=NV10GL,PCI\VEN_10DE&D EV_0100
DEV_XXXXevice id
NVXX:Model name
(i have geforce 256... what an ancient card... lol)

This message was edited by kamian on 11 Feb 2002 07:42 AM
