7950/7970/280/280x/380/380x (Possibly 270/270x/285?) are all plagued with stability issues - they become severe with Windows 10 14353. Even on a system with a legacy install, and no secure boot, they still crash under load. It can be Google Chrome, madVR, Rainbow Six Siege, whatever. BSODs, amd kernel dll faults, application crashes and driver crashes. And clocks are still stuck. :bang: I've seen these problems on the newer drivers on many people's computers now.

A GTX 970 is the perfect solution. They're only about $170-190 on hardwareswap now. Massively reduced CPU overhead, massively reduced power consumption and heat output. (Seriously, my ITX rig now idles at 30w instead of 90w+. Gaming load is 230w peak vs 460w peak).

I'd love nothing more than for this to get fixed, but I don't have faith that it will, in fact. I don't even think it's on AMD's radar. If they paid attention and actually tested their drivers themselves, they'd find all sorts of bugs and silly limitations. Having to use CRU to create a custom resolution with AMD drivers but not Nvidia drivers is another example. Why are these problems ignored?

The 290 has major stability issues, too. It's frustrating as hell. I can play for hours on it, but I browse Chrome or if I leave the system idle with no windows open, it will crash.

Aren't you the same guy who bought copper shims and stuff to maintain 1100 MHz on the core but couldn't?

No stability issues with my 290 on Windows 10 14393.

System crashing at idle does not sound like a driver issue.

I always do, but they doing this on purpose.

Issues are present in Windows 7 also. But nvidia is definitely not an answer, they are far worse.

In Gow4 1060/970 is faster than furyX/fury/390x/480. Pathetic AMD. Dx12 my @$$ :bang:

Even if years coming and passing by, the red team is unable to overcome such obstacles. That's not competiting. OpenGl, Tessellation, UE etc. I am bored.

If I had such a bottlenecked system, I'd be bored too.

That could also go for your GPU even with my CPU I can play so smoother. Give better arguments and don't be embarrassed to feel the weakness of ATI. Jeez.

Sorry, my system isn't bottlenecked, pal. And there isn't actually any weaknesses here. If there is, it's your inability to understand how this industry works. Sell off the GPU and buy a GTX 960. Far better suited for your rig. But then I'm pretty sure you'll end up complaining about something in the nvidia drivers section.

Wth are you guys talking about. AMD does fine in GoW4 considering UE4 favors the nvidia cards :

uninstall drivers, clean registry and restart before update

I never had bugs even on beta Drivers, people need clean old drivers (uninstall drivers, clean registry and restart PC) before install new ones

Make It and comment later :pc:

Same texture for both console and pc, almost same light effects.
    Better shadows on xbox version.

It's just an unoptimized game ported from xbox.
