There is real bombs from Gaza here and no drivers.

I wanted to reply to him, and to refer to the plane crash, hihi, cuz he's russian, not that i have anything with russians, some people of them want to blow up things in the sky from time to time

A new version of GPU Tweak has been released and it fixes the bug with the 340.43 Beta Drivers.



I was already using the 340.52 Quadro drivers though because they don't have the bug.

I smell new driver..

 

I tried questioning one of there presenters of nvidia, when new driver comes out. we should except it any time tbh.

 

New drivers on this week? no

 

Nothing, soo crap, i bet they are in vacation, ManuelG, is like, dead, for some days....

Talked with nvidia live chat about an ETA, nothing.

 

MAybe they give us R343

 

I wish they would Think we'll see that one with Maxwell at this stage.

Who knows, last time i think the nvidia rep said that the whql was send to MS for the stamp, that takes that long ?

 

I haven't been following this thread much, but is there supposedly any features that are worth looking forward to in the upcoming driver?

Yeah they have, but also we have holidays now, and we want something new. We paid them for the GPU, not vice versa. I dont think its so hard to give an ETA, the nvidia rep, if will take another week, or 2 weeks, i could start cleaning my PC tomorrow and put the last available driver on a fresh OS, and then start to re-play all Assassins Creed series, clean maps, thats my summer-thing in gaming for now :banana: until Risen 3 poops up, and play that one, but this driver delay crapped all things for me.

 

I guess everyone follows this: more recent drivers, (wanna be) higher performance

 

Exactly what i was thinking..
I was expecting a Game Ready driver for The Crew beta since Nvidia are working with Ubisoft, and the beta is almost ending.

ManuelG stated at 07-10-2014 that next drivers are going through WHQL certification and then will be made available.

There are a few factors that i am considering of why they are not being released yet.

1. WHQL certification delay from Microsoft.....
2. Maybe Nvidia canceled the WHQL certification and withdrawn the driver to fix additional bugs reported by users.
3. Delay from Nvidia from less staff due to vacations..
4. Taking their time since there are no major titles being released this month.

and lastly what peppercute posted that maybe they are working on giving us the R343 driver,
in which they are dropping support for older Graphics Cards.
Lastly Maxwell optimizations for the GTX 750 and GTX 750 ti.

 

I think its 2 and 3. Probably we will see a different, more advanced driver, if they delayed this long, probably with different branch as people said above. OR, we will see that WHQL super delayed driver, the same as last 340 quadro driver, will be a shame.

 

We payed them to take a long holiday and the bigg bos can have a big hous with pool and 2 ferraries.

Nvidia employees are all on holiday playing games on there new nvidia shield tabled with a nice drink with a little umbrella in it.

I just say let them have it.

 

nah we wont see R343 yet, they will milk R340 some more you will see



btw idk if you all know but R343 will finally have OpenCL1.2, saw this info at khronos.
