Yes it is MSI VGA Fan Control but you can't make free profile fan with it only set manual fan or leave it auto, plus that program can't auto-start with windows :( although I can make it as a startup program via windows but still it doesn't has profile fan like in Afterburner.

    I see, OK thanks Unwinder.
I just wanna to set Fan 2 to 50 - 60% all the time.

office & stuff is defined by exceptions & profiles list.

VCE is more limited than QS. It doesn't support anything above 1080p.

I got this again today on bootup , RTSS app crash and I checked taskmanager and I did have like 5 processes of RTSShooksloader64.exe .

closing AB and force closing all orphans ,then restarting AB worked fine and a reboot also worked fine .
So it very random type of crash .
the event viewer shows different module path this time , but not much info to probably help here .

Next time it happens should get a mini dump on it , maybe that will help .

I cannot offer you anything but carefully examining system security related software installed in your OS, sorry. Or just avoid using RTSS.

We will see, I enabled a dump so maybe that shed some light on it .
    FWIW , I never had issue with 2.3 but that didn't have 64bit hooksloader.exe .

As I said before this system is barebones as far as security , nothing installed other than win stuff which would not affect this (win firewall and windows defender , no MSE ).
I installed it on 1/8/14 so in like 2 weeks it happened twice .
I might just remove the 64bit hooksloader.exe in options as I really don't need it .once my GPU is set i don't really need OSD and only game I have that uses is BF4 which also has its own counters .

I will keep eye on it and if any solid info comes up , then i post it .
    Edit:
I going to give RTSS and RTSShooksloader64.exe administrator rights , I don't think this is problem but can't hurt .
Also add AB and RTSS to firewall exceptions even though i have auto-update to none on both .

There is no such feature in AB. K-Boost is EVGA's own technology and it won't be cloned inside MSI Product, sorry.

would be interesting for me, too.

I do start MSIAB especcially as admin, so all it's descendent processes as RTSS and RTSSHooksLoader64.exe have full admin rights, too.
Still getting crashes some times for RTSS.exe and RTSSHooksLoader64.exe.
RTSSHooksLoader64.exe will have multiple copied of itself still running/hanging in RAM, even after exiting MSIAB. RTSS.exe is cleaned without user interaction from RAM except the one which MSIAB uses after all.

In AV (Avira free) I made exceptions for MSIAB, RTSS.exe and RTSSHooksLoader64.exe for not to disturb them in any way.
Still getting crashes some times, but only right at startup.
If I disable autostart option in MSIAB and starting it from Desktop Icon everything works fine. Monitored startup of MSIAB in ProcessExplorer and no multiple copies of RTSS.exe or RTSSHooksLoader64.exe are shown while starting MSIAB.

As unwinder has stated multiple times there is no problem with it, I'll keep starting MSIAB manually from Desktop. So no more Problems with it for me.

When I said set it to run in administrator mode , I meant set it in properties of the exe . I to run system as admin but sometimes you need to do it for a certain exe to work ok , but normally if I do run into this it is reproducible at 100% rate and this is not case here .
Just curious how often did it crash for you in a week , month etc ?
Another thing I will try is a delay on AB startup

There seems to be a startup delay setting in MSIafterburner.cfg (in root folder) . I set mine to 20,000 (I am assuming it in ms ) , this seems to delay the RTSS stuff .
Have to see if this helps .

Is it a known issue that beta 18 reports only 8GB of ram for ram usage/pagefile usage? I have 16GB installed

It is your understanding issue, sorry. Configure graph limits.

Hey Unwinder. I got my SSD back today from RMA and I fresh installed everything and AB Beta 18 unlocked my voltage for my MSI r7850. Not sure why I couldn't get it to work before, but I'm glad it does now :)

What would be the best fan setting without any real perf. impact?

I have it like so atm,

Except you are using GPU that support boost or hitting the throttling temp limit, I don't think it will causing any huge performance hit for GPU.

But the fan speed might be unstable, and causing noise that can be notice by you. :)

This is the wrong place for such questions. You adjust the fan profile to suit your needs / your GPU.
