Another quickie, i just don't have that much mood/time these days to do my usual comic u__u Yeah, just keep doodling usually does it, and sometimes you will come up with your own style. When i was a kid, i was addicted to DBZ and i imitate toriyama's style until after a while i became more and more aware of the doodling style i want to use and ended up what i use today. And yes, have fun doing it ^__^ For quickies i usually draw em straight out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0Q5XF7lUKk With minor to no guidelines, for a lil bit serious ones, i make some guidelines (tho i only use pencil regardless haha) Spoiler @One Punch Man: damn, when is One's next chapter comin out? Need my One Punch fix -__-
Attack on Titan Has anyone watched this? Going to download it. Watched the 1st episode today on my lunch break. Was very good! St oped watching anime years ago, but getting back into it and feels great tbh. I remember why I loved it all so much. A lot of diversity and I'm a bit of a dreamer so it all goes well together.
Yes I believe all of us in here have watched it. BTW I believe they just green lighted a second season.
I've not seen it yet, not sure if it's available this side of the pond. Have been considering getting the mangas though once I finish the X series. Even though I'm still working my way through Brotherhood (30ish eps in) I saw the robotech box set for £24 on Amazon which should last me a good while.
Finally finished Fate/Zero it was really good gives a lot of understanding to Saber and her personality in Stay Night. Damnit now I have to watch Fate/Stay Night again.
Well I finished FMA:Brotherhood last night and thoroughly enjoyed it even if it took me a while to watch it all. I just started Robotech and saw the running time on the collection box set....42.5hrs. Its going to be a long one :nerd:
Good to hear, i just got the first episode of Space Dandy. I just watched Witch Craft Works, it's pretty awesome as well.
That did seem like nice stuff the Witch Craft Works. So far out of the new series I've liked Space Dandy, Chuunibyou second season, Noragami, Nobunaga The Fool, Nobunagun, Hamatora, The Pilot's Love Song, d-frag was hilarious.
Since i've finally finished Maison Ikkoku (IMHO the most adult, not in a sexual way, anime / slice of life I've ever seen), I began on Ranma 1/2. After that Inuyasha. I also discovered Log Horizon, the story is somewhat a ripoff from Sword Art Online, but I like LH way better.
Log Horizons concept is way better imo. And the story is way better only similarity is game worlds. And both are essentially ripoffs from .hack series ^^
Recommend a good anime to the likes of Deathnote? Do not like anime such as kuroshisuji... Bleach & Naruto are okay, oh and the main toon needs to be guy.
I've never seen or read Deathnote so I'm not sure what to compare it with or what your preference in anime may be, but I'll give you three recommendations with Male protagonists that I thought were enjoyable. Darker Than Black - Has a sort of Xmen/Hero's theme with people having special powers but they don't tend to be using the in a nice way, more messy... (series 2 is worth a watch but it's highly advisable to see the OVA with links Series 1 & 2) Phantom: Requiem of the Phantom - Really surprised when I watched this as it has quite a serious tone throughout and was a very original story line at least to me involving a character who is captured, mentally broken an turned into a professional killing machine. Guyver: The Bioboosted Armour - Remake of one of the first (and possibly most violent) anime's I've ever seen. Not as bloody as its predecessor but still as fun to watch. Monsters and action throughout. Hopefully you should enjoy at least one of those
Megabiv you must watch Deathnote it is a requirement..... lol Probably the closest to Deathnote in that list is Darker than Black.
