    I think he was partly right, nvidia probably does charge extra for features like physx and the other stuff already mentioned by spets

    If you think you would miss physx then just get a cheap add-on 640GT 384core for 60-80€, that should be enough to run that unoptimized code

    And you'll still save some money :)

    then use that old version, no big deal, there arent a lot games out anyway and those that are are mostly meh. :p

    well i liked borderlands 2 and metro LL also looks great. and what about the witcher 3 ? looks great too.
    I wouldnt want to buy a gpu to use with 2 year old drivers to get physx working. but thats just me i guess.

    I would never buy a gpu just for a game



    Speaking of that issue it does work with latest physx

    so yeah R9-280x + cheap 450gts, etc would be enough. Someone said older 450gts would be better then 640gt because of higher compute perf.

    Hi Guys!

    i notice a strange thing with my 280x dc2top . my default set in gputweak (2.4.7.0) is 1132mv . MAX allowed: 1232mv WT..???

    gpu-z reads: VDDC default voltage (with load): 1.100v (+/-) . VDDC max voltage (with load) : 1.188v (+/-)



    I can't control the voltage using any other software (CCC \ AB ) .... what is hapening here ??? even using 1232mv , i see allways 1200mv on the top corner using kumbustor (AIDA shows the same thing)
