This is back again

Freezes every 5-10seconds with the mouse cursor disappearing

 

having lots of lag spikes in payday 2. The game used to run smooth before and now it's just laggy. Not tried anything else yet besides Valley 1.0 which is 5fps slower.

 

Just played an hour of BF3 with these, smooth and no issues. Can't wait for BF4!
Very pleased that NVIDIA released a beta driver for it.

 

uke2: mehh. this makes me worry...I didnt install em yet but will do now and see..since we both have Fermi and i also had this probs before(even with BSOD´s) i fear a bit...

How do we enable HBAO+ and what games support it?

Anything that supported override AO supports HBAO+ automatically.

 

I am tired of driver optimizations. I just want the driver to work the best it can in every game and not have to wait for an optimized drive to come out. Why can't a driver be written that simple works across the board.. seems like we sacrifice some games for others constantly with these opts.

 

Fair play, Fifa 14 looks considerably better!

In case I catch your attention, any idea if GTX Titan's can support HDMI 2.0 with a firmware flash? I'm eyeing up a 4k projector and it would be great if Nvidia had a way of driving it.

Also, has Nvidia considered having an "audio only" HDMI output option, with a blank 720p video field? This would enable people with an HDTV/receiver setup to connect directly to the display (best option for correct refresh rates and minimal input lag) whilst also having HDMI 5/7.1 audio output options. It'll be even MORE important with 4k, as people would have to buy a new receiver/processor in addition to display otherwise.

Enable sli and after reboot have black screen!!! Wtf??

 

The 327.23 work fine without using hardware acceleration in Firefox, but this has happened on a previous driver and it started freezing up within about 10-15mins of the driver being installed

Well these drivers certainly did a good job at destroying my SLI setup!
As soon as I enable SLI I get kernel issues and lockups.
Had to go into safe mode to uninstall.

Okay, I can confirm that ambient occlusion works fine now. It's clearly different than before, more accurate and flickers way less. These are keepers. It's a bit buggy looking in SWTOR though, looks great in Mass Effect. This new AO seems to be much more efficient performance wise too.

By the way, it would be great if FXAA would work with video capturing (and most screen shotting tools). It can't be impossible since MLAA on AMD cards shows up just fine unless I'm totally mistaken.

 

can any sli users confirm if they are having NO lag spikes? I've tried bad company 2 and payday 2 and it's not smooth at all.

 

These drivers seem pretty screwed up for SLI users, I had long hangs and kernel driver crashes on the desktop.
It was fine until I enabled SLI.. Back on 327.24 and no issues.

 

sorry to hear that. Been reading on other forums too and sli users are reporting similar problems. I'm going to try and re-install again but use driver sweep before hand.

 

PCI-E Gen 3.0 native support is only enabled in R331.40 for Geforce GTX Titan and Geforce GTX 780. We are considering enabling for GK104 based GPUs.

Maybe remove these drivers from the site, I don't think these are doing nvidia any good.
They are supposed to add SLI support for BF4, but since these drivers don't seem to work with SLI there is no point for these drivers to exist.
